Matthew Byrd is a creator of weird, strange, and bizarre films. Through directing, writing, and editing he invents projects for people with a taste for stories from beyond the outer limits of imagination.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Matthew Byrd is a Director, writer, and editor. He is a student at Wayne State University and has directed five short narrative films and two short documentary pieces.  He currently studies at Wayne State University's Film Department for his Bachelor's degree. He is incredibly fond of Tokusatsu and Comic Books.
