Above is a 3D Rendering of the Akihabara District of Japan, crafted by Matthew Byrd. When discussing the significance of the location: β€œIn 2019, I visited Japan. I visited the city of Akihabara, where there are many attractions for geeky, nerd culture, from Pokemon centers to tech shops, and even toy stores. Seeing it for the first time was a dizzying array of sights, colors, and sounds. I would love to go back so that I could explore the space in a far more in-depth manner than I originally did. It was just beautiful to see this new place and exist in a new country. While we all logically understand there are other people in the world, it is a whole other matter to actually visit these places, experience the culture, and really understand that there are whole other worlds of people living their own lives outside of our home country. It was beautiful, and I do intend to go back.”. The Piece was constructed within the Tinkercad website.
